  • Quantitative Analysis & Reporting:

    • Review quantitative modeling approaches and provide direct feedback on results.
    • Develop and defend power price forecasts and financial projections.

    • Mentor and develop junior staff to build a high-performing team.

Basic Qualifications

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent quantitative aptitude for other majors).
  • Experience:

    • 7+ years of work experience in the North American electric power sector, including market analysis and forecasting.
    • Hands-on experience with at least one of the following markets: ERCOT, PJM, ISO-NE, NYISO, MISO, SPP, CAISO, WECC, or SERC.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Deep familiarity with market modeling approaches and tools (e.g., PROMOD, PSLF).
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Experience independently conducting and supervising technical analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in any of the aforementioned fields or closely related areas.
  • Consulting background preferred; experience in financial analysis, asset valuation, or power plant development is a plus.
