About the Role:
S&P Dow Jones Indices is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join its Technology Quality Engineering team. This team ensures the quality and delivery of applications and infrastructure that power global markets.
The Impact:
This role is integral to ARROW, the interface for the Golden Database platform, which provides advanced reporting, maintenance, and personalization capabilities. Users can customize dashboards, execute multiple reports efficiently, and use keyword searches for easy access to indices and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate independently in an Agile environment and advocate for software testing best practices.
-
Develop, execute, and improve application test suites based on software requirements and workflows.
-
Design and implement test automation solutions using Cucumber, Selenium, and Carina.

Perform API/Web Services testing and automation framework development.
-
Maintain QA and UAT environments, manage deployments, and coordinate production releases.

Continuously analyze business domain and customer needs to improve test coverage.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering (or equivalent work experience).

Experience: Minimum 4+ years in software testing.

Technical Skills:
-
Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Carina.
-
Proficiency in API/Web Services testing.
-
Strong coding skills in Java or Python.

Experience with SQL (PL/SQL, NoSQL DB preferred).

Familiarity with Linux/Unix, Jenkins.

Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, ability to work in cross-functional teams, and proactive issue resolution.

Preferred: Exposure to Capital Markets (Equities, Futures, Options).
