Job Purpose
As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the sales process by providing technical expertise, developing solutions, and ensuring customer requirements are met. You will work closely with the sales team and customers to propose technical solutions in Device Management, Optical Networking, Hospitality Solutions, Wi-Fi Solutions, and FTTX Solutions.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Technical Consultation & Sales Support
- Work with the sales team to understand customer needs and provide technical solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations & presentations, showcasing key features and benefits.
- Assist in preparing technical proposals, solution designs, cost estimates, and bill of materials.
✔ Customer Engagement & Support
- Gather customer requirements and offer technical guidance throughout the sales process.
- Collaborate with OEM teams to ensure solution feasibility and compatibility.
- Participate in technical discussions, workshops, and meetings to strengthen customer relationships.
- Provide training & support on solution implementation and usage.
✔ Technology & Market Trends
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive offerings.
- Travel across South India to support sales processes and meet customers.
Essential Skills & Experience
✅ Technical Expertise
- Strong knowledge in Device Management, Optical Networking, Hospitality Solutions, Wi-Fi Solutions, and FTTX Solutions.
- Experience in GPON technology (implementation & troubleshooting).
- Hands-on experience with OEMs like Nokia, Cisco, HP Aruba, GX, V-SOL, C-Data, UT Starcom, and Tejas Networks.
- Proficient in Routing, Switching, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of Wi-Fi standards, SIP protocol, and Voice service call flow.
- Familiarity with TR-069, GPON ONT Interop, and Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP).
- Knowledge of IoT (Internet of Things).
✅ Work Experience
- 3+ years of experience in GPON/EPON/FTTH/FTTB domain.
✅ Soft Skills
- Excellent communication & presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
✅ Language Proficiency
- English, Hindi, Kannada (Required).
✅ Other Requirements
- Valid 2-Wheeler Driving License (Required).
- Willingness to Travel (50%).
