As a Support Engineer, you will be responsible for handling technical support incidents, collaborating with teams, and continuously improving customer experience.
✔ Take ownership of support incidents and resolve them using all available resources.
✔ Participate in emergency call-outs as a 2nd chair to assist L1 engineers and learn.
✔ Prepare and update Knowledge Base (KB) articles.
✔ Continuously improve work quality based on feedback and coaching.
✅ 1-2 years of experience in a technical role (preferably in Support/Managed Services).
✅ Basic Linux/Unix knowledge (navigation, scripting, diagnostic commands).
✅ Shell scripting for simple tasks or troubleshooting.
✅ SQL query writing and experience in an RDBMS (Database) environment.
✅ Basic networking knowledge and understanding of the TCP/IP protocol.
✅ Network trace analysis skills (a plus).
✅ Familiarity with telecommunications protocol standards (SS7/SIGTRAN & Diameter) (a plus).
✅ Understanding of hardware (servers, storage devices) (a plus).
✅ Strong communication skills in English (written & spoken).
✅ Customer advocacy, empathy, and attention to detail.
✅ Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
✅ Ability to prepare knowledge base articles and playbooks.
