Job Description:
As a Site Reliability Engineering Manager (EM), you will take full ownership of the SRE organization. In this role, you will act as a tech-administrative leader, collaborating with various stakeholders, peers, and your team to contribute to organizational goals and growth. You will lead a team of skilled engineers focused on improving search functionalities and driving innovation. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the end-to-end development process—from ideation to deployment—ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions while upholding the best reliability practices.
About the Team:
The Engineering Manager will work within the Reliability and Efficiency Engineering team. This team is responsible for building industry-standard large-scale platforms that are utilized across Flipkart. These platforms are designed to significantly enhance system reliability and implement efficiency engineering practices that support and improve the productivity of engineers across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of engineers to improve system reliability and enhance search functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on goals and responsibilities.
- Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality and efficient solutions.
- Foster best practices in reliability, scalability, and system performance.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
- Ensure the successful delivery of solutions that support Flipkart's overall infrastructure.
