Pay: ₹22,000 – ₹28,000 per month

Job Description:
Responsible for managing patient billing operations and coordination across departments to ensure timely and accurate billing, estimation, insurance handling, and patient counseling.
Key Responsibilities:
Billing & Estimation:
-
Process daily billing activities as per the activity chart
-
Prepare and brief discharge bills for patient closure
-
Provide estimation for admission and document accordingly
-
Update received payments and ensure accurate billing as per consultant instructions
Patient Counseling & Coordination:
-
Counsel patients/attendants on charges, packages, and billing queries
-
Coordinate with Front Office, PRO, Pharmacy, Medical, Nursing, and Lab teams
-
Conduct daily rounds for both Cash and Insurance patients
-
Update and maintain package details in patient files
Insurance Handling:
-
Initiate pre-authorization and close bills per final insurance approval
-
Respond to insurance queries and maintain documentation for TAT compliance
Operational Efficiency:
-
Ensure cash discharges are completed within 45 minutes of receiving files
-
Coordinate with PRO for room readiness before issuing beds
-
Reconcile billing with the finance team
-
Prepare reports as directed by the HOD
