Position Summary
The Fishing Tool Specialist will be responsible for executing fishing operations on offshore/onshore rigs and oil well locations.
???? Key Responsibilities
1. Fishing Operations & Execution
✅ Perform cased hole and open hole fishing jobs assigned to Parker Wellbore worldwide
✅ Execute deviation and casing exit jobs
✅ Undertake offshore/onshore activities including:
- Running motors
- Operating under reamer borehole enlargement tools
2. Reporting & Sales Support
✅ Provide detailed job reports and utilization sheets after each job
✅ Handle sales calls, inquiries, and follow-ups
✅ Support the sales team in sales-related activities
3. Training & Compliance
✅ Train and mentor the Parker Wellbore fishing team
✅ Ensure compliance with company policies, QHSE standards, and legal procedures
✅ Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager/Supervisor
???? Required Qualifications & Skills
1. Experience & Technical Expertise
✔ 10+ years of relevant experience in fishing tool operations
✔ Expertise in handling various fishing tools, including:
- External catch & internal catch tools
- Remedial & repair tools
- Junk catching & retrieving tools
- Milling & cutting tools (including plug and abandonment fishing accessories)
- Deviation tools (casing exit & open hole exit)
- Back-off tools
✔ Strong knowledge of drilling exploration and completion (Upstream, Midstream & Downstream)
2. Industry Knowledge & Technical Proficiency
✔ Understanding of Fishing Tool systems and procedures
✔ Familiarity with reporting, computer systems, and pricing
✔ Excellent exposure to QHSE/API and DS1 systems & procedures
✔ Medical fitness to perform the job

???? Field Work Environment
✔ Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
✔ Capability to operate in remote, isolated environments
✔ Exposure to hazardous and noisy conditions
✔ Ability to work in enclosed spaces & at heights
✔ Operation of motor vehicles, heavy equipment, and power tools
✔ Frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and lifting (up to 50 lbs)
✔ Mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

✔ Frequent standing, walking, stooping, or kneeling
✔ Use of computers with repetitive wrist and hand movements
