About the Role
We are looking for Software Engineers to develop innovative technology solutions for the financial markets. This role offers an opportunity to work on Aladdin, BlackRock’s investment operating system, used by global investment firms for risk analytics, portfolio management, trading, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Software Development – Design & develop high-efficiency, high-availability software solutions.
✔ Trading Platform Development – Contribute to Aladdin’s global, multi-asset trading platform.
✔ Collaboration – Work in a multi-office, multi-country environment.
✔ Roadmap Planning – Work with product managers & business users to define the roadmap.
✔ Code Quality & Testing – Implement unit, regression, and user acceptance testing.
✔ Leadership & Culture – Foster a collaborative, inclusive team culture.
✔ Tech Stack – Work with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Cloud, Kafka, SQL & NoSQL databases.
Qualifications & Skills
✔ Education:
-
B.E./ B.Tech./ MCA or equivalent in Engineering/Computer Science.
✔ Experience:
-
4+ years in Java development.
-
Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) & Design Patterns.
-
Experience in Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate.
-
Expertise in multithreading, high-throughput, distributed applications.
-
Hands-on experience with SQL, NoSQL databases (MS SQL, Sybase, Cassandra, Redis, MongoDB, Ignite).
-
Knowledge of message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, etc.).

Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and DevOps tools (Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes).

Strong problem-solving & analytical skills with a focus on test-driven development (TDD).
✔ Nice to Have:

Experience in microservices & API development (REST, gRPC, Kafka).

Understanding of cloud-native design patterns & event-driven architectures.

Exposure to AI-related projects or optimization algorithms.

Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
