About the Role:
We are seeking a Junior Engineer to join our team, responsible for site inspections and ensuring quality deliverables within stipulated timelines. The role involves physical site visits, project monitoring, and coordination with team members.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Site Inspections & Execution:
- Conduct physical site visits to gather primary information and monitor project progress.
- Oversee civil engineering aspects of fit-out projects, including structural modifications, flooring, partitioning, and ceiling installations.
- Ensure all work at the site is executed as per approved designs and specifications.
- Evaluate the quality of craftsmanship and ensure adherence to construction standards.
✔ Review & Compliance:
- Verify contractor invoices and supplier bills for materials, labor, and services, ensuring proper documentation.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and identify any material or compliance-related issues.
- Verify that materials, products, and construction practices align with IGBC certification requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
✔ Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Diploma in Civil/related fields.
✔ Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in interior and fit-out projects.
✔ Technical Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, building codes, and construction practices.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of construction contracts, billing practices, and IGBC standards.
✔ Soft Skills: - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
✔ Flexibility: - Willingness to work on-site and travel extensively between multiple project locations.
