Job Overview

The Travel Sales and Operations Specialist is responsible for driving revenue through effective sales strategies while ensuring smooth day-to-day travel operations. This role requires strong sales acumen, operational expertise, and customer service skills to deliver exceptional experiences for both corporate and leisure clients.

The ideal candidate will manage client relationships, coordinate travel arrangements, and work closely with vendors to optimize service delivery and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

???? Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the travel market.

  • Develop customized travel proposals and packages to meet client needs.

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through lead generation and client outreach.

  • Attend industry events and networking functions to promote company services.

???? Operational Management

  • Oversee daily travel booking operations and ensure seamless execution of travel itineraries.

  • Coordinate with airlines, hotels, car rental services, and other vendors to secure the best rates.

  • Monitor travel schedules, handle last-minute changes, and resolve operational issues.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, travel regulations, and industry standards.

???? Customer Service & Client Relations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing inquiries.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster repeat business.

  • Handle escalations and troubleshoot issues to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

???? Administrative & Analytical Duties

  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, contracts, and client interactions using CRM systems.

  • Prepare sales reports, operational performance metrics, and budget tracking documents.

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to recommend process improvements.

  • Collaborate with marketing, finance, and customer service teams to align strategies.


Qualifications & Skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.

Experience & Skills:

  • Experience in travel sales, travel operations, or a similar role in the travel industry.

  • Strong understanding of travel industry trends, vendor management, and customer service best practices.

  • Proficiency in travel booking systems (Sabre, Amadeus) and CRM software.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Flexibility to work extended hours or travel as required.
