???? About the Role: M365 Technical Advisor (Migration Specialist)

As an M365 Technical Advisor, you will support customers during their Microsoft 365 trial phase by resolving technical issues and helping them fully utilize the M365 platform. Your goal is to provide expert advice, encourage adoption of workloads, and help transition customers from trial to paid subscriptions—ultimately increasing product usage and license consumption in the small business segment.


????️ Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and advice related to Microsoft 365 subscriptions

  • Respond to customer queries via chat and phone regarding:

    • Admin tasks on the M365 web app

    • Domain registration and purchase

    • Office installation and configuration

    • Usage of M365 tools and workloads

  • Understand customer intent behind starting the trial and align solutions to business or personal goals

  • Help customers adopt the full M365 suite, increasing workload usage and license volume

  • Assist in technical implementations and offer migration expertise

  • Drive customer satisfaction and long-term platform engagement


Required Qualifications

  • Advisory or technical implementation experience in M365 environments

  • Strong consultative and problem-solving skills

  • Proven expertise in Microsoft 365 migrations

  • Comfortable with fast-paced support and customer relationship management

  • Windows 10 Pro device with the latest updates installed

  • Minimum 8GB RAM (16GB recommended), Core i3 or above, 256GB HDD (SSD preferred)

  • Stable LAN connection with minimum 25 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload

  • Noise-canceling microphone/headset and webcam (Windows Hello compatible preferred)

  • No Wi-Fi usage or third-party antivirus software allowed (security policy)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certifications such as MVP, MCT, MCSA, MCSE

  • Experience with RAVE systems (a plus, not mandatory)

  • Previous freelance or client-facing support roles

  • Familiarity with Microsoft’s technical architecture and customer support workflows

  • Must not use remote management or inventory tools

  • Verified media device compatibility with Microsoft Teams
