We are looking for an experienced Distribution Manager to lead and expand Red Hat’s distribution and reseller channel business across India. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the IT/software distribution landscape, experienced in building channel partnerships and driving revenue growth.
1. Channel Strategy Development:
Design and implement strategies to scale Red Hat’s distribution and reseller networks.
Identify and onboard new channel partners to enhance market coverage.
2. Reseller and Distributor Management:
Build and nurture strong relationships with distributors and resellers.
Provide training, enablement, and ongoing support to ensure effective partner performance.
Monitor and manage partner productivity and apply corrective actions when needed.
3. Revenue Growth:
Drive revenue through robust channel strategies and sales collaboration.
Work with partners to develop joint business plans and hit sales targets.
4. Market Analysis:
Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs.
Share insights with internal teams to optimize offerings and go-to-market strategies.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to align channel activities with company goals.
Ensure smooth coordination and clear communication across teams and partners.
6. Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure all activities adhere to Red Hat’s compliance standards and procedures.
Deliver regular reports on partner performance, market trends, and opportunities.
10+ years in distribution, channel business development, or reseller management
Proven success in building and managing distribution networks
Experience in software sales or the IT industry is highly preferred
Background in launching and growing new business territories
Strong understanding of the Indian channel ecosystem
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Bachelor's degree required; Master’s in Business Administration or Engineering preferred
Strategic mindset with strong execution skills
