Job Objective:

IWG’s business is expanding rapidly, and we are making significant adjustments to improve scalability and profitability at this exciting time. The Global Pricing & Retention team plays a crucial role in shaping pricing and retention strategies that directly impact volume and earnings.

This role reports to the Global Head of Customer Retention and focuses on developing tools and processes to manage revenue, pricing, and retention efficiently.

The ideal candidate is a versatile professional with technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Development of Price & Retention Management Suite

  • Build a Pricing & Retention Management Suite using SQL, VBA, Power BI, and Python.
  • Enhance and consolidate Excel-based pricing management calculators and tools.
  • Develop new tools to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Integrate algorithms for price determination and implementation.

2. Database Management (SQL & Azure)

  • Transform and migrate the price management system’s database to Azure.
  • Ensure data integrity for business-critical APIs, including performance inputs and pricing outputs.
  • Assist the team with complex data requests and query troubleshooting.
  • Design big data flows for the next-generation pricing algorithm.
  • Work with IT to enhance the stability and security of pricing management systems.

3. Price & Retention Strategy Execution

  • Evaluate market and competitor data, along with internal sales performance.
  • Recommend pricing adjustments for different markets.
  • Monitor the impact of pricing changes and respond proactively to unexpected shifts.

4. Global Performance Initiatives

  • Design, test, and implement new pricing algorithms and methods across global markets.
  • Oversee A/B testing and analyze results for continuous pricing improvements.
  • Collaborate with senior management on strategic initiatives.
  • Report on performance, insights, and future actions.

Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university (Preferred fields: Business, Science, or Mathematics).
  • Strong expertise in SQL, Power BI, and VBA for business tool development.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, VBA) and Office 365 Suite.
  • Experience in MS SQL, Power BI, and programming languages for data-driven decision-making.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end project development.

  • Strong business operations knowledge with the ability to drive performance improvements.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Strong problem-solving ability and strategic thinking.
