About the Opportunity
We are looking for a talented Principal Software Engineer to join our growing team in Bengaluru.
Our cloud-first SaaS platform is built using a Distributed Microservices Architecture on Linux, Java, Vertx, Oracle, MySQL, and Angular/React/APEX. We use RabbitMQ as our messaging backbone and NoSQL databases like Redis for storage.
You will be working on a highly scalable, highly trafficked system with over a million lines of code, requiring top-tier engineering expertise to maintain high availability and performance.
We need engineers who are versatile, innovative, and eager to take ownership of complex problems across the full stack as we push technology forward.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Design & Development
- Architect and develop high-performing, scalable, and fault-tolerant web applications and microservices.
- Lead the design and architecture of major software components, ensuring alignment with best practices.
- Develop flexible, robust, and responsive UI SDKs to enhance user experience.
✔ Project Management & Leadership
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables using technical expertise.
- Lead a Scrum team for Sprint Planning, Grooming, and Daily Standups.
- Mentor and train junior team members on design techniques and coding standards.
✔ Code Quality & Optimization
- Refactor legacy code bases, applying design patterns and best practices.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and software quality assurance.
- Work closely with the UI/UX design team and backend developers to create seamless user experiences.
Required Skills & Experience
✔ Education & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of professional experience in developing large-scale web applications and REST APIs.
- Full-stack development expertise, with a focus on both UI & API development.
✔ Technical Expertise
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented (OO) and Procedural Programming.
- Experience in Java, JavaScript (ES6), TypeScript, and frameworks like React & AngularJS.
- Strong understanding of web standards, accessibility compliance, and UI development.
- Knowledge of RDBMS like Oracle, MySQL and experience working with Git.
- Experience with scripting and compiled languages.

- Ability to lead teams, provide technical mentorship, and drive best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
Bonus Points (Preferred Skills)
✔ Distributed Systems & Cloud Technologies
- Experience working on distributed systems and microservices architectures.
- Experience with public cloud platforms like OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
✔ Advanced Development Skills
- Hands-on experience with Helidon, APEX, RAPID, OJET.
