Production Engineer – Capital Machinery / Steel Fabrication
Location: Delhi
Experience: 2-5 years
Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
Job Profile
- Oversee production operations and coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), manuals, and work instructions for production processes.
- Reduce rejections and rework through continuous improvement and quality circle initiatives.
- Identify and resolve equipment breakdowns using troubleshooting tools.
- Conduct internal audits, monitor operations, and prepare reports for management.
- Ensure adherence to design standards and maintain product quality.
- Analyze customer technical comments & requirements and calculate cost impacts on machines.
- Inspect product components to ensure compliance with technical specifications before final packing.
- Maintain and service tools and machinery used in production.
- Promote safety and discipline through continuous improvements on the shop floor.
Skills Required
✔ Strong communication skills
✔ Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office
✔ Understanding of electrical circuits & control panels
✔ Knowledge of VFD parameters & controls
✔ Experience in generator operation & maintenance
✔ Hands-on experience in industrial machine maintenance
✔ Operation of lathe & drilling machines
✔ Understanding of welding techniques
✔ Knowledge of EOT cranes
