Job Description

We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our team for the design, execution, and commissioning of projects in the edible oil & fats refining, oleo-chemicals, and bio-diesel industries. The role involves end-to-end project execution, from basic and detailed engineering to plant commissioning and handover.


Key Responsibilities

Design and Engineering

  • Develop designs for plant equipment and processing systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (ASME, DIN, JIS, TEMA, etc.).
  • Select and integrate process equipment such as heat exchangers, vacuum systems, pumps, boilers, filters, chillers, control instruments, and hydraulic systems.
  • Oversee process vessel design, fabrication, and inspection.

Project Execution & Procurement

  • Manage projects from basic engineering to final commissioning and handover.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team for sourcing and purchasing equipment.
  • Work with engineering and customer service teams to address customer feedback.
  • Support pre-projecting and sales of process solutions.

Technical & Troubleshooting Support

  • Provide basic support for PLC systems and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Ensure proper installation, testing, and operational efficiency of process equipment.

Collaboration & Travel

  • Work independently while being an integral part of a multidisciplinary project team.
  • Be willing to travel overseas for project execution and client support.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in edible oil, oleo-chemical processes, or related engineering services.

Technical Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design, engineering analysis, and project execution.
  • Hands-on experience with pressure equipment and industrial codes.
  • Familiarity with process equipment selection and operations.

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a project team.
