A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Quality Engineer, you will work closely with the Lead for Quality Management to ensure task execution aligns with standard operating processes. You will collaborate with engineering, project management, and bid preparation teams to optimize workflows and resolve project challenges.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop & implement project-specific Quality Control Plans (QCPs/ITPs) ensuring compliance with Siemens Quality Management standards and Customer Specifications.
- Support the tendering team by preparing Tender Phase Quality Control Plans, estimating Quality resource needs, and reviewing quality input for pre-qualification and selection processes.
- Ensure adherence to customer specifications, international standards, and quality benchmarks in project documentation.
- Participate in BID projects by attending internal & external Kick-Off Meetings (KOM) and Pre-Inspection Meetings (PIM).
- Contribute to BID activities, including Comments & Exceptions (C&E), QA budget calculations, and BID QCP preparation.
- Ensure quality compliance in Oil & Gas projects, including supplier management, customer expectations, and Siemens Quality policies.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
- 2-3 years of experience in Quality Management, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role.
- Basic knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Understanding of quality certificates, quality documents, material test certificates, and EX-ATEX Certificates.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with PLM systems (Team Center/Globus) and ERP systems (SAP), Web-based Portals.
