What to Expect in this Role
As a Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in the automation and testing of web applications within a CI/CD environment. You'll collaborate closely with engineers and product owners to ensure the delivery of high-quality software through automated testing, risk analysis, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
-
Develop and maintain test automation for web applications in a CI/CD environment
-
Collaborate with engineers to drive improvements in code quality through manual and automated testing
-
Create Test Plans, Test Strategies, and schedule test activities
-
Develop and execute test cases across multiple levels (unit, integration, system, exploratory)
-
Validate and report test results to improve software quality
-
Participate in backlog grooming and requirements reviews for performance, security, testability, and usability
-
Coordinate with product owners on feature prioritization, documentation, and issue tracking
-
Advocate and ensure quality practices throughout the development lifecycle
-
Promote a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and improvement
-
Communicate risks and challenges at any stage of planning or development
-
Encourage a proactive quality mindset across the team
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
-
3+ years of experience in testing and automation
-
Solid understanding of JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks
-
Hands-on experience with UI Test Automation frameworks such as:
-
Selenium
-
WebdriverIO
-
Playwright
-
-
Experience with API Automation using frameworks like:
-
SuperTest
-
Rest-Assured
-
-
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and platforms
Nice-to-Have Skills
-
Proficiency with Playwright test automation framework

Experience using TypeScript for automation
-
Knowledge of advanced test design principles and patterns
