Job Description:
We are looking for a driven and meticulous Content Writing Intern with a passion for the social sector, writing, and research. The ideal candidate will assist in creating compelling content for events and podcasts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain an organized database of researched panelists and potential contacts.
- Support content creation for seminars and podcasts, including brief bios, show notes, and event descriptions.
- Conduct competitive research on similar podcasts to identify gaps and unique angles.
- Analyze audience preferences to tailor content accordingly.
- Ensure accuracy in references and statistics used in discussions.
- Assist in preparing podcast outlines and scripts.
- Engage with diverse demographics to ensure inclusive representation in seminar series and podcasts.
Qualifications:
- Final-year student or recent graduate in English, Creative Writing, Literature, Journalism, or Communications.
- Strong writing and communication skills with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
- Excellent research skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize information from multiple sources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous writing, editing, or publishing experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong interest in writing, literature, and the publishing industry.
Internship Duration:
- 3-month internship with a possibility of a permanent full-time position based on performance and mutual agreement.
