About the Role & Team

As global security threats, health risks, and the demand for seamless travel experiences increase, governments seek digital solutions to enhance border security while improving efficiency. SITA AT BORDERS is a market leader in Border Management solutions, working with 70+ countries to develop integrated, digital, and secure border solutions.


What You’ll Do

Drive Business Growth

  • Work with the Borders Growth Team, Product Managers, and Regional Sales to execute a go-to-market strategy.
  • Generate new leads and identify opportunities for new and existing Borders accounts globally.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified, active opportunities and drive revenue growth.

Market Engagement & Industry Influence

  • Stay updated on border management trends and emerging technologies.
  • Build strong relationships with government influencers, decision-makers, business partners, and industry associations.
  • Support early customer engagement and prospecting efforts to develop tailored border solutions.

Sales Strategy & Competitive Positioning

  • Collaborate with sales teams to increase pipeline value and strategize deal execution.
  • Provide insights on pricing, competitive positioning, and selling strategies.
  • Gather and share market intelligence with teams via SITA’s communication platforms.

Showcase Customer Success

  • Work with Marketing, Product Management, and Sales to develop case studies and highlight successful SITA Border Management implementations.
  • Demonstrate how SITA solutions improve border security, streamline travel, and enhance operational efficiency.

What You Bring

???? Experience & Expertise:

  • 2-4 years in consultative selling, business development, or government account management.
  • Knowledge of border control solutions, including:
    • Advance Passenger Information (API), Interactive API (iAPI), Passenger Name Record (PNR).
    • Departure Control Systems (DCS), Travel Declarations, and Data Quality.
  • Understanding of seamless traveler journeys, digital pre-clearance, risk assessment, and identity management.

???? Technical Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with Biometric solutions (fingerprints, facial, iris) and watchlist systems.
  • Insight into integrated border solutions, automated border control (ABC) gates/kiosks, and name/biometric matching engines.
  • Awareness of industry stakeholders such as ICAO, IATA, and the United Nations.

???? Skills & Qualities:

  • Strategic thinker with a customer-first mindset.
  • Strong relationship-building, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Engineering teams.
