We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales and Business Development Manager in the hospitality sector. This role is key to driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence. You will blend strategic planning, sales execution, and relationship management to achieve organizational goals.
Market Analysis and Strategy Development: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. Develop and implement strategies to enhance market share.
Sales Leadership: Lead and inspire a sales team by setting clear targets, offering guidance, and fostering a high-performance culture.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management: Identify and pursue new business opportunities (corporate accounts, event organizers, travel agencies). Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
Revenue Management: Collaborate with revenue managers to set pricing strategies based on market demand. Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies to optimize revenue.
Marketing Collaboration: Work with marketing teams to develop promotional materials, digital campaigns, and branding initiatives to support sales goals and enhance visibility.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for senior management. Use data analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and inform decision-making.
Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, hospitality management, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in sales or business development are advantageous.
Experience: 3-5 years in sales or business development roles within the hospitality industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing and motivating sales teams.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for client interactions and internal collaboration.
Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze market data, sales trends, and customer feedback to inform decisions.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, changing market environment.
