Role Overview:

Oracle Cloud University (OCU) is a fast-growing education business unit within Oracle’s Customer Success Services (CSS) organization. OCU enables customers, partners, and employees to learn about Oracle’s cloud services, including SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and On-Prem products. As a Sales Representative for Learning Adoption & Renewals, you will drive maximum adoption and consumption of Oracle University Learning Subscriptions, manage accounts, and secure renewals while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement & Success:

    • Develop long-term partnerships with Oracle University customers to ensure they realize the full value of their learning solutions.

    • Deliver an exceptional learning experience by proactively communicating with Training Administrators and orchestrating the right internal resources.

    • Track and execute customer learning goals using CSM processes.

    • Act as a liaison between the customer and Oracle University delivery/product development teams.

  • Adoption & Expansion:

    • Drive adoption, activation, and consumption of Oracle University Learning Subscriptions.

    • Identify opportunities for product expansion and up-sell.

    • Work to secure renewals and mitigate renewal risks by collaborating with extended internal teams to execute "get well" plans.

  • Customer Satisfaction & Renewals:

    • Maintain high client satisfaction and ensure timely renewals for small to medium-sized customers in your assigned territory.

    • Educate customers on business practices, contractual implications, and Oracle's portfolio.

    • Ensure customer understanding of applicable Oracle services.

    • Manage exceptions for customers with issues that may delay renewals and ensure resolution.

  • Sales & Forecasting:

    • Meet productivity expectations on outbound calls for renewals.

    • Transfer leads to sales representatives for top-tier opportunities.

    • Accurately forecast business targets and opportunities in the assigned territory.


Job Requirements:

  • Experience:

    • 3 to 7 years of experience in Customer Success or Cloud Sales, with a demonstrated ability to build successful customer relationships.

    • Sales experience in international markets is required.

  • Skills:

    • Strong communication and presentation skills.

    • Basic understanding of cloud architecture.

    • Proven ability to manage complex account situations and resolve issues effectively.

    • Strong consulting skills, with a track record of working as a trusted advisor to clients.

    • Passion for customer success and ability to drive business value for clients.

  • Personal Traits:

    • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and focused on exceeding client expectations.

    • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and perform effectively under pressure.
