About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Copyeditor/Coordinator who combines sharp editorial skills with the ability to manage and streamline content workflows. This is a leadership role for someone passionate about quality writing, editorial strategy, and team collaboration.

You’ll take charge of editing content, managing a team of writers and freelancers, and ensuring consistent delivery of high-impact, brand-aligned communication.


Key Responsibilities

✍️ Content Editing & Quality Control

  • Edit and proofread articles, blogs, and marketing materials for grammar, tone, and style

  • Ensure brand voice and editorial guidelines are consistently maintained

  • Perform fact-checks and ensure content accuracy across formats

???? Team Coordination

  • Oversee content production and ensure timely delivery

  • Act as the primary liaison between freelancers, writers, and editors

  • Assign content tasks and priorities, and facilitate smooth team communication

???? Editorial Strategy

  • Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with business campaigns

  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to meet content objectives

  • Implement editorial best practices and recommend strategy enhancements

???? Mentorship & Leadership

  • Provide constructive feedback to junior writers and editors

  • Lead team training and skill-building sessions

  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and goal-oriented editorial culture

???? Process Optimization

  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and propose streamlined solutions

  • Use editorial tools and platforms to enhance productivity

  • Track content performance using KPIs and suggest improvements


Qualifications & Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field

  • 2+ years of experience in editing or content coordination

  • Strong command of English with exceptional attention to detail

  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (like WordPress)

  • Understanding of SEO content principles

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred

  • Experience coordinating or editing newsletters

  • Prior team management or mentoring experience
