Your Team Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be part of the ESG and Data DevSecOps team, based in Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, or Coimbatore. This role involves close collaboration with MSCI's Central DevOps and ESG and Data Application Development Teams. You will be responsible for building and optimizing cloud infrastructure while acting as a bridge between various teams to ensure the smooth deployment, monitoring, and management of cloud applications.
Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure on Azure and GCP using services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, etc.
- Assist in containerizing workloads and automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.

CI/CD & DevOps Processes:
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and release management.
- Ensure application scalability, reliability, and performance on cloud platforms.
- Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.

Security & Best Practices:
- Enhance security measures by implementing best practices and integrating security tools.
- Continuously improve DevOps processes by adopting industry best practices and cloud-native tools.

Technical Collaboration:
- Provide technical guidance and support to teams for efficient utilization of DevOps tools and services.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure efficient infrastructure management.
Skills & Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience as a DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Azure DevOps.
- Hands-on experience in automating and orchestrating infrastructure with Terraform.
- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with scripting languages like Bash or Python.
- Strong understanding of Git and CI/CD workflows (Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Bitbucket CI, etc.).
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools for cloud environments.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile & DevOps environment.
