About the Role
Amazon India is looking for a Senior Digital Writer to join Team D1, Amazon’s in-house creative team within the XCM Marketing Team. In this role, you will develop and execute creative strategies that drive impactful digital content across multiple platforms. Your work will involve crafting compelling copy for digital marketing campaigns, social media, digital films, and influencer scripts, ensuring Amazon's presence remains engaging and relevant.
You will collaborate closely with brand managers, visual designers, and media managers, leading the development of customer-focused content that resonates with diverse audiences across digital channels such as onsite, social media, and performance notifications.
Key Responsibilities
???? Creative Strategy & Execution
- Lead the conceptualization and execution of innovative digital campaigns aligned with business objectives.
- Develop engaging, high-impact content that delights and inspires customers across digital platforms.
???? Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand and refine briefs, creating campaigns that exceed expectations.
- Partner with art teams, agencies, influencers, and digital production teams to execute creative ideas.
???? Social Media & Digital Expertise
- Utilize deep knowledge of social media platforms and best practices to create visually compelling and engaging content.
- Write across various formats, including digital film scripts, social media posts, and influencer scripts.
???? Campaign & Project Management
- Oversee digital agency partners to ensure high-quality campaign execution.
- Manage multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Pitch creative concepts and coordinate across internal teams and external partners.
???? Creativity & Innovation
- Ideate and develop fresh, customer-focused campaigns that enhance Amazon’s brand presence.

About the Team – Team D1
Team D1 is a specialized creative team within Amazon India’s XCM Marketing Team. We are responsible for delivering impactful creative work across onsite design and digital marketing campaigns. Our team collaborates with internal stakeholders, agencies, and external partners to create content that speaks to Amazon’s diverse customer base.
Qualifications & Skills Required
✔️ Experience:
- 6+ years in a digital or social media agency or in-house digital marketing team.
- A strong portfolio showcasing digital campaigns that demonstrate original thinking, social media expertise, writing craft, and fresh ideation.
✔️ Creative & Digital Marketing Skills:
- Strong copywriting skills across digital formats.
- Ability to craft compelling, customer-centric storytelling.
- In-depth knowledge of social media best practices and digital campaign trends.
✔️ Soft Skills & Work Ethic:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Proven ownership of projects from inception to execution.
