Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Airline Sales Person to join our Passenger Division at the Gurgaon office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing sales activities, developing and implementing effective sales strategies, meeting sales targets, and overseeing the performance of the sales team. If you have a passion for sales, a strong understanding of the airline industry, and excellent leadership skills, we want to hear from you.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Planning: Develop a comprehensive business plan to drive sales, increase revenue, and control expenses within the Passenger Division.

  2. Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed sales goals by managing the sales process effectively from prospecting to closing deals.

  3. Sales Team Management: Set individual sales targets for the team and provide guidance to ensure goals are met.

  4. Sales Analysis & Reporting: Track sales goals, analyze data, and report results to management.

  5. Leadership & Motivation: Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve targets and maximize performance.

  6. Collaboration with Marketing: Coordinate with the marketing team to generate leads, develop promotional strategies, and capitalize on market opportunities.

  7. Customer Promotion: Promote the organization and its products to existing and potential customers through various channels.

  8. Industry Insight: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities for growth.

  9. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including airline partners, travel agencies, and corporate clients.

  10. Industry Representation: Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and foster business partnerships.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Experience: Proven experience in airline sales or a similar role within the aviation industry.

  • Leadership: Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire a sales team.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strategic Planning: Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets and drive business growth.

  • Sales Management: Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and seize opportunities.
