Role Overview

As the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, you will be an integral part of TechBlocks’ Sales & Marketing team. This role bridges individual contribution and team leadership within our matrix-style organization. You’ll flex your creative muscles while guiding and mentoring others to excel in their roles. Your responsibilities include managing external agencies, coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders for web design, video production, event planning, and more. You will also drive joint demand generation activities—both virtual and in-person—with channel partners, and execute various special projects as needed.


Key Responsibilities

Channel Partnerships

  • Develop & Manage Partners:
    • Build and maintain robust relationships with channel partners (e.g., e-commerce product companies like Adobe, BigCommerce; public cloud players such as Azure, GCP, AWS) to maximize demand generation.
    • Identify and evaluate new channel partner opportunities to contribute to sales and market penetration.
  • Joint Initiatives:
    • Collaborate with partners, vendors, and consultants to create and execute joint marketing initiatives and incentives.
    • Train and support channel partners on our products and services to enhance their sales effectiveness.

Branding & Communications

  • Agency Oversight:
    • Oversee North American-based agencies to coordinate timelines and deliverables for web and digital asset development.
  • Content & Thought Leadership:
    • Lead content generation efforts and coordinate internal initiatives where subject-matter experts share thought leadership content to drive demand.
  • Brand Management:
    • Manage directories, awards, and accolades to boost brand confidence.
  • Digital Campaigns:
    • Work with the Digital Marketing Team to execute cross-channel organic and paid campaigns.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify areas for improvement, propose changes, and work collaboratively with stakeholders to implement enhancements.

Events

  • Event Planning & Execution:
    • Lead planning and execution for both in-person and virtual events.
    • Coordinate with venues, external speakers, and vendors to ensure well-executed events.
  • Representation & Engagement:
    • Represent TechBlocks at events and be prepared to present to audiences as needed.
    • Attract guests to booths or meetings during tradeshows or third-party events.
  • Additional Initiatives:
    • Plan and coordinate internal and external podcasts.
    • Maintain brand tone and ensure consistency in sales documents, presentations, and HR materials.
  • Strategic Alignment:
    • Develop audience-specific strategies aligned with overall company and sales goals.

Requirements

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing with a focus on channel partnerships, event marketing, or agency relationships.
    • Experience working in an agency environment is considered an asset.
    • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience.
  • Skills:
    • Strong relationship-building, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
    • Ability to articulate creative visions and effectively present ideas to stakeholders, internal teams, and clients.
    • Proficient in HubSpot for CRM, automations, and reporting.
    • Adaptable and flexible to shift gears as needed.
  • Additional Assets:
    • Understanding of the technology space (IT Consulting, Software Development, SaaS, Managed Services, etc.) is an asset.
    • You must be comfortable speaking in front of an audience.
    • Valid passport required for travel to the USA (up to 25% travel) and a valid G-Class license with no restrictions.
  • Work Environment:
    • Comfortable working in a hybrid work environment.
