Role Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced and driven Senior Product Engineer – Pricing and Billing to join our Global Payment Solutions (GPS) team. This role offers an opportunity to collaborate with seasoned professionals globally while contributing to the deployment and enhancement of our global billing platforms.
Principal Responsibilities

Act as a co-product owner of the global billing platform, collaborating with a global product lead based in the UK and regional product owners across the world.

Report directly to the Director of Pricing and Billing, the global business lead, with 20+ years of industry experience.

Oversee the IT development lifecycle, working closely with co-located technology teams for platform deployment and maintenance.

Collaborate with transformation and operations teams to ensure global consistency in delivering on the GPS Net Fee Income (NFI) strategy.

Manage oversight of IT and BAU processes, ensuring alignment with internal controls, change management protocols, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Lead global Pricing and Billing projects to deliver capabilities across multiple markets with a focus on accuracy, speed, and strategic alignment.

Conduct cross-functional working groups involving product, sales, client management, operations, and IT teams to move projects through key toll gates.

Ensure compliance with frameworks such as the Product Lifecycle (PLC), GPS Pricing Framework, and Wholesale Pricing Procedures.

Champion product competitiveness and client-centric innovations.

Influence and align multiple stakeholders globally without direct reporting lines.

Drive decisions and ensure timely delivery of business outcomes across global teams.
Requirements
✅ Experience & Knowledge
-
Minimum 12 years of experience in transaction banking, ideally in payments product management.

Proven expertise in product management, commercialization, IT & operations coordination, and project delivery.

Demonstrated success in deploying new billing platforms and deep understanding of pricing and billing in transaction banking.

Familiarity with cash management, product lifecycle processes, and financial oversight in large-scale operations.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to develop customer-centric and operationally effective solutions.

Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to lead cross-functional, global teams.

Experience in coaching and mentoring junior product managers.
