About the Position
We are seeking a One Engineer to join the Oracle-NetSuite team at our Hyderabad location. In this role, you will be responsible for development, testing, and test automation within the team. You will help us deliver a market-leading product that powers some of the world’s largest ERP systems. As a One Engineer, you will be responsible for tasks associated with developing, debugging, and designing software applications. The ideal candidate will be able to apply technology to solve business problems and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical teams. You will also be expected to create robust, scalable solutions for our customers.

Responsibilities

Design, Develop, and Troubleshoot:

Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, etc.

Create prototypes, write unit test scripts, and deploy solutions to different deployment environments.

Resolve development issues and deliver final solutions on time.

Collaboration and Issue Resolution:
-
Work with Quality Assurance to resolve issues reported internally or by customers.

Conduct root cause analysis of reported issues and propose solutions.

Test Planning and Automation:
-
Plan and execute testing phases and develop automated tests.
-
Understand different testing practices, techniques, and types of testing.

Maintain Quality Standards:
-
Apply and maintain quality standards for company products, ensuring adherence to both internal and external requirements.

Leadership and Mentorship:
-
Occasionally mentor new team members, resolve impediments, and ensure sprint and release commitments are met.

Provide support to new team members and occasionally take on leadership responsibilities.

Follow SCRUM Methodology:

Adhere to the SCRUM framework and methodology requirements laid out by the team.

Experience/Skills
-
Education:
-
B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/M.E. or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics.

Experience:
-
Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing software products.

Proficient in Java/JEE programming and experienced in web application development.
-
At least 5 years of experience in testing Web applications.

Skills:
-
Familiar with various software programming techniques and development tools.

Experience with integration approaches and strategies.
-
Development experience in rich UI development (MVVM, etc.).

Strong experience in JavaScript-based single-page applications using Web Services and JavaScript libraries.

Advanced skills in HTML (HTML5, CSS3, XHTML).

Experience with JSP is an added advantage.
