???? Reports to: Sr. Manager, Software Engineering
Key Responsibilities
???? Data Pipeline Development
✔ Design scalable data pipelines to collect and analyze security-related data from multiple sources
✔ Apply best practices to ensure data integrity, reliability, and scalability
✔ Develop automated, cloud-native solutions across AWS, GCP, Azure, and OCI
???? Security & Compliance
✔ Collaborate with security teams and leadership to implement solutions that reduce cloud security risks
✔ Ensure compliance with security standards, regulations, and industry best practices
✔ Work with compliance teams to implement necessary controls and reporting mechanisms
???? Data Monitoring & Reporting
✔ Create regular reports on pipeline performance, data quality, and security incidents
✔ Design and implement anomaly detection solutions for security analytics
???? Cloud & DevOps Integration
✔ Architect secure cloud environments across AWS, GCP, Azure, and OCI
✔ Implement DevOps/DataOps practices including Git, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
✔ Utilize containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) for cloud-native data processing
Qualifications & Skills
???? Education & Experience:
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience
✔ 5+ years of experience in data engineering and design
???? Technical Expertise:
✔ Expert-level proficiency in SQL
✔ Hands-on experience with Snowflake for production analytics
✔ Experience designing complex data marts using dbt and Airflow
✔ Strong knowledge of AWS data engineering ecosystem and data security best practices
✔ Proficiency in Identity & Access Management (IAM), RBAC Automation, and security frameworks
???? Nice-to-Have:
✔ Knowledge of global data security regulations (GDPR, SOC 2, US privacy laws, PII protection)
✔ AWS or other professional data security certifications
✔ Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, Hex, or R-Shiny
