Roles & Responsibilities:
- Build high-performing products at scale using industry-standard microservices architecture.
- Write and review maintainable, scalable, and efficient code with a focus on Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Support and enhance the architecture and framework of applications.
- Design technical solutions from concept through development, coding, and unit testing.
- Document technical designs, including flowcharts, class diagrams, sequence diagrams, data flow diagrams, and database schemas.
- Ensure architectural standards and best practices are consistently followed across applications by working with implementation teams.
- Improve processes and tools to enable faster release cycles, increased velocity, and higher quality.
- Provide leadership and guidance to mentor and motivate team members, helping them achieve their optimum performance and career development.
Required Skill Sets:
- Expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, and cloud platforms (AWS or others).
- Strong experience in microservices-based architecture.
- Good knowledge of MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
- Expertise in cloud development and deployment.
- Experience managing or mentoring development teams.
- Ability to accurately estimate software development tasks and work with Project Managers to develop task-level project plans.
- Strong knowledge of secure solutions and industry best practices in information security and defensive development.
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and limitation issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
