Position Overview
The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for providing innovative software solutions to complex business problems. The ideal candidate will possess excellent software engineering skills, a proven track record of successful project delivery, and the ability to prioritize and communicate effectively. We are looking for someone who is motivated, customer-focused, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
This position involves developing software solutions, collaborating with teams, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to the growth of the engineering team. You will have the opportunity to work on mission-critical systems in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

Software Development:
- Develop software solutions by analyzing user needs, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
- Design and document system specifications, standards, and programming solutions.
- Improve operations by recommending changes in policies and procedures.

Collaboration and Mentorship:
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and create new products.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, helping them grow professionally.
- Interview, recruit, and hire new engineering talent to strengthen the team.

- Take ownership of projects, from scoping requirements to launch.
- Make informed decisions quickly and ensure the successful delivery of solutions.
- Work collaboratively with others to achieve team goals and maintain high-quality deliverables.

Software Practices:
- Follow professional software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of mission-critical systems.
- Stay on the leading edge of development practices and technologies, particularly open source.

Problem Solving and Crisis Management:
- Remain effective under pressure, finding creative solutions to complex problems.
Qualifications

Experience:
- 4+ years of experience as a software engineer and professional web development.
- Solid experience in web development, with knowledge of C#, ReactJS, or JavaScript (ECMAScript 6+).
- Hands-on experience implementing SOLID/OOP concepts in software development.
- Experience in building and delivering complex web systems to customers.
- Familiarity with mission-critical, 24x7 systems and working in an agile environment.
- Ability to handle the full software development lifecycle, including coding, reviews, testing, and deployment.
