Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Administrator with 5 to 8 years of Azure cloud administration experience. The ideal candidate will manage and optimize our Azure infrastructure, implement DevOps practices, and ensure seamless application deployment.
Responsibilities
Server Administration
-
Support CDS teams with web server administration.
-
Act as the primary contact for server-related inquiries.
-
Ensure high availability and performance of server infrastructure.
Deployment & Maintenance
-
Deploy applications and perform server upgrades.
-
Transition from on-premises Windows Server to Azure.
-
Manage SSL procurement and renewal.
Access Management
-
Handle server, file, and folder access for authorized personnel.
-
Ensure security compliance.
Azure Infrastructure Management
-
Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure Azure cloud infrastructure.
-
Monitor and maintain Azure resources’ health, performance, and security.
-
Optimize cost management.
DevOps Practices
-
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps tools.
-
Automate deployment processes for zero-downtime releases.
-
Collaborate with development teams for smooth code integration and delivery.
Security & Compliance
-
Implement best practices for securing Azure resources.
-
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
-
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting
-
Set up monitoring solutions for proactive issue detection.
-
Resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
-
Provide 24/7 support for critical incidents and perform root cause analysis.
Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with cross-functional teams.

Provide technical mentorship to junior members.

Document processes for knowledge sharing.
Continuous Improvement

Stay updated with the latest Azure services and best practices.

Identify automation and process improvement opportunities.

Drive innovation and efficiency within the cloud operations team.
Qualifications
Required:
-
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
-
6 to 8 years of experience in Azure cloud administration/engineering.
-
Strong experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and IaC (Infrastructure as Code).
-
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
-
In-depth knowledge of Azure services: Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Active Directory.
-
Experience with monitoring/logging tools: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
-
Strong understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and cloud governance.
-
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
-
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
-
Azure certifications: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.

Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
-
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
-
Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
