Overview:
Join an expert annotation team to create training data for some of the world’s most advanced AI models. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading player in the AI/LLM space. We are primarily seeking JavaScript/React developers with 3+ years of experience to help train large AI language models—ultimately improving how generative AI models write frontend code. No previous AI experience is necessary, and we currently have 200+ roles open!
What Will I Be Doing?

Evaluate AI-Generated Code:
Assess the quality of AI-generated code and provide human-readable summaries of your rationale. -
React & JavaScript Development:
Build and evaluate React components, hooks, and modern JavaScript solutions. -
Solve Coding Problems:
Write functional and efficient JavaScript/React code to solve complex problems. -
Write Test Cases:
Develop robust test cases to confirm the functionality and efficiency of the code. -
Create Instructions & Review Code:
Provide instructions for others and review code before it is incorporated into the model. -
Engage in Various Projects:
Work on a range of projects, from evaluating code snippets to developing full mobile applications using chatbots.
Pay Rates:

Compensation rates vary based on location and experience. Rates can be found in the provided document.

Expectation: 15+ hours per week (no upper limit).

You will be paid weekly based on the hours spent working on the platform.
Contract Length:
-
This is a long-term contract with no set end date (anticipated duration of 2 years).

You may choose to end the contract at any time, but we expect a commitment of at least 12 months.
Flexible Schedules:

Developers have the flexibility to set their own hours.

Strong performers are expected to adapt to project urgency but there is a high degree of flexibility.

No strict hour tracking – pay is based on time spent on coding exercises.
Interview Process:

Application: Apply using the Ashby form.
-
Async Code Review: If a good fit, we’ll send you an RLHF code review that must be completed within 72 hours (takes about 35 minutes).

Onboarding Call: Once your review is complete, we’ll set up a group call to answer questions about onboarding.

Simulated Task: You’ll complete a simulated production-level task (RLHF task) on the platform. This will be your final interview and determine your employment and leveling.

Employment Opportunity: Successful completion of the process will provide you with an opportunity to work on available projects.
Tech Stack Priorities:

Frontend Engineers proficient in JavaScript, React, and modern web development frameworks and libraries.
Required Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in a software engineering/development role.

Strong proficiency with JavaScript/React and frontend development.

Complete fluency in English.

Ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.

Excellent attention to detail and consistency in writing, with a solid understanding of grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.
Nice to Haves:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science.

Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries (Next.js, Vue, Angular).

Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).

Knowledge of state management solutions (Redux, Context API, MobX).

Experience with TypeScript and modern frontend tooling.

Recognized accomplishments or contributions to the coding community.

Proven analytical skills with a creative approach to problem-solving.

Adept communication skills, especially when discussing project requirements.

Enthusiasm for teaching AI models and experience with technical writing.
