About the Role
The ML Platform team powers Indeed’s most critical products by building and maintaining infrastructure that supports the entire machine learning lifecycle. As a Software Engineer II, you will develop tools and web applications, optimize cloud infrastructure, and enable machine learning (ML) practitioners to focus on innovation while you handle complex MLOps tasks.
You will collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to drive improvements and ensure seamless ML model deployment and management.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Design and develop scalable, user-friendly tools for the ML lifecycle.
✅ Build and maintain full-stack web applications and backend infrastructure.
✅ Optimize and automate workflows across ML operations.
✅ Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineers, data scientists, and product managers).
✅ Provide technical support and troubleshoot integration issues.
✅ Participate in code reviews and design discussions to maintain quality standards.
✅ Document technical processes and solutions to enhance platform efficiency.
Skills & Competencies
???? Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
???? Experience: 3+ years in full-stack software engineering, including backend and modern web applications.
???? Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Python, Java, Node.js, or Ruby.

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).

Familiarity with MLOps concepts (preferred).

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
