As a Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of projects end-to-end, from development to deployment. You'll work alongside skilled engineers who will support your growth, and engage with teams such as product, marketing, and sales to drive company-wide success.
Role and Responsibilities:

Work on the Query Processing Team, adding new features to the core SingleStore Database (written in C++).

Focus on enhancing fault tolerance, accelerating SQL queries, and working with cutting-edge technologies like LLM, vector indexes, SIMD, and LLVM codeGen.

Contribute to the creation of search and costing modules for the query optimizer.

Collaborate with a global team to deploy new and existing projects into production with each release.

Gain a significant understanding of both the product and business as you contribute to the end-to-end software development cycle, from writing to testing.
Required Skills and Experience:

B.Tech. Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

2-3 years of experience in system-level C/C++ development (particularly on Linux).

Strong understanding of operating systems, concurrency, multithreading, and server architectures.

Proficiency in C++ or C.

Passion for building highly reliable software.

Strong grasp of algorithms and data structures.
