Role Overview
As a Senior Engineering Manager in the Fanatics Brands Tech team, you will lead a high-performing global team of software engineers focused on building scalable solutions for order capture and management in the wholesale and brand commerce domain. You’ll drive product execution, engineering excellence, and innovation while enabling a seamless fan experience.
Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Innovation:

Lead a global software engineering team focused on new technologies and methodologies.

Promote a culture of innovation and experimentation to improve fan experiences.

Mentor engineers and foster career growth.

Collaboration & Strategy:

Partner with Product Management, Business Leads, and Engineering leaders to create fan-first, strategic technology solutions.

Align engineering efforts with business objectives using metrics and data-driven decision-making.

Technical Execution:
-
Ensure delivery of scalable, reliable, cloud-native systems (AWS).
-
Champion continuous improvement, code quality, and technical debt reduction.

Promote cross-functional collaboration to influence product strategy and implementation.

Communication & Transparency:
-
Communicate technical solutions and updates effectively to stakeholders and executives.
-
Advocate for industry best practices and drive the adoption of new technologies.

Occasional Travel:
-
Travel occasionally for critical offsite meetings and events.

Required Qualifications
-
Experience:
-
10+ years in software development using GoLang, Java, React, or similar technologies.
-
5+ years in designing and implementing cloud-native solutions, preferably on AWS.

Proven leadership in engineering management roles.
-
Background in eCommerce, supply chain, or order management systems.

Skills:
-
Deep understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Strong data-driven decision-making capabilities.
-
Excellent communication, influencing, and collaboration skills.

Demonstrated success in delivering complex, customer-centric software solutions.

Other Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science or related field.

Experience managing geographically distributed teams.
-
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud, Apex, or ATP (SCM domain).

Familiarity with Salesforce B2B Commerce, Elastic, or Shopify.

Experience in start-up environments or product companies.
-
A passion for sports and fan engagement is a strong plus.
