Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct supervision of senior application developers and test automation engineers for iOS, tvOS, Android, and web-based platforms.
- Mentor the junior developers
- Maintain positive employee and peer relationships and nurture professional growth.
- Ensure communication with other teams as well as to/from senior management and team members
- Remain current in the understanding of front-end application technologies and DevOps methodologies
- Communicate early and often, building a culture of trust and collaboration between engineers and teams across multiple offices, organizations, and timezone
- Facilitate in building the group’s technical strategy and roadmap – creating success metrics and prioritizing the team’s work in close collaboration with other engineering teams and product managers in multiple organizations.
- Partner closely with product and business teams and service provider teams to align roadmaps and design incentives for shared success.
Skills - Experience and Requirements:
Must have skills
- 12+ years of Design and Development experience
- 4+ years of experience in mobile app development using React Native
- Proficient in debugging and analysis of issues
- Hands-on experience in developing Native apps Android/IOS
- Hands on experience in React JS, Redux, React Native, React hooks
- Proficient in debugging and analysis
- Should have strong problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to write well-documented code and TDD based development
- Experience in integrating native modules and third-party libraries
- Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Android Studio, Visual studio code and npm.
- Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
- Experience in working with version control system like GitHub/bitbucket
- Should be well versed and up to date on the latest trends in Javascript technologies
- Highly collaborative and strong team player with a commitment to perfection.
- BE/BTech/ME/MTech
Good to have skills:
- Hands-on experience in developing multimedia/OTT streaming applications.
- Experience with socket programming and networking in general.
- Understanding of streaming protocols like HLS / MPEG-DASH.
