The Opportunity
Sapaad Software Private Limited is looking for passionate and reliable Systems Engineers to join our Infrastructure Operations (Infra-Ops) team. You will collaborate with engineers and developers across multiple layers of applications and infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance of our solutions. This is your chance to be part of a rapidly growing SaaS company shaping the future of cloud-based software systems.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management
- Optimize and manage Cloud-based applications, including scaling, performance monitoring, and resource allocation.
- Maintain AWS infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 storage, API gateways, and Lambda functions.
Database Management
- Administer Postgres and Redis databases, including upgrades, backups, and performance tuning.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting
- Perform log analysis and implement monitoring tools to ensure application health.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide on-call support.
Disaster Recovery
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery and backup solutions.
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with development teams to optimize application infrastructure.
- Manage incidents, minimize downtime, and provide escalation support as required.
Documentation
- Maintain detailed technical documentation, procedures, and guides.
- Update asset registers and CMDB (Configuration Management Database).
Research & Development
- Actively participate in R&D to improve systems and processes.
Maintenance
- Participate in rotating schedules and perform monthly maintenance activities.
End-User Support
- Act as a primary escalation point for end-user issues related to applications and infrastructure.
- Provide high-quality support by diagnosing and resolving technical problems.
- Assist end-users with application configuration, updates, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct training sessions and create user guides for software utilization.
- Monitor and respond to helpdesk tickets, ensuring timely resolution.
Key Skills & Expertise
✅ Experience with IaaS and PaaS cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Heroku).
✅ Expertise in monitoring tools (Logentries, Logtail, DataDog, Librato, Scout).
✅ Familiarity with DevOps concepts, including Docker and Kubernetes.
✅ Strong understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, API Gateway, Lambda).
✅ Experience with log analysis, monitoring, and dashboarding.
✅ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
✅ Knowledge of Infrastructure Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
✅ Excellent time management and communication skills.
✅ Proactive ownership and willingness to learn new skills.
Preferred Qualifications
⭐ Certifications in AWS or other cloud platforms.
⭐ Experience with containerization technologies.
⭐ Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
⭐ Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
⭐ Scripting skills in Python, Ruby, or Shell.
⭐ Educational Qualification: B.Tech/BE/M.Sc in Computer Science.
