About the Revenue Operations Team

Mixpanel's Revenue Operations team partners with Commercial Leadership to shape and execute global and regional revenue strategies. We develop and maintain key operational processes, reporting systems, and decision-making frameworks to drive success across our GTM (Go-to-Market) teams.


About the Role: Salesforce Administration Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Administration Team Lead to support the maintenance and optimization of our Salesforce CRM system. You will be responsible for configuring Salesforce, maintaining clean and accurate data, and ensuring alignment across CRM, Data Warehouse, and Billing systems.

This role requires strong analytical skills, business operations expertise, and the ability to translate business requirements into system solutions. Your contributions will be critical to enhancing the efficiency and success of Mixpanel’s business operations.


Key Responsibilities

Salesforce CRM Management & Configuration: Maintain and manage fields, record types, page layouts, user profiles, roles, and teams
Data Audits & Alignment: Conduct monthly and quarterly sales opportunity audits to ensure CRM data is consistent with Billing and Mixpanel Data Warehouse (BigQuery)
Database Maintenance: Run diagnostic tests, remove duplicate entries, and perform regular database clean-ups
Reporting & Dashboards: Develop custom processes, dashboards, and reports to monitor data integrity and quality
User Training & Support: Provide training and assistance to Salesforce end-users
Business Systems Improvement: Evaluate new software and business processes to enhance system efficiency
Process Documentation: Maintain records of administrative procedures and system configurations
Salesforce Optimization: Identify new ways to leverage Salesforce to support additional business functions


Who We're Looking For

Experience: Proven Salesforce administration experience
Certification: Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201) certification required
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Salesforce CRM platforms
User & Data Management: Experience configuring user profiles, roles, and permission sets
Project Management & Problem-Solving: Ability to manage projects efficiently and troubleshoot complex issues
Salesforce Best Practices: Understanding of Salesforce limitations, support mechanisms, and best practices
Bonus: Experience with SOQL and SOSL is a plus
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field

Bonus Points If You Have:

B2B SaaS Experience – Background in business-to-business software services
Sales Automation Tools Knowledge – Experience with outbound automation tools & integrations
Data Analysis Skills – Ability to analyze data & provide actionable insights
BigQuery Experience – Familiarity with data warehouse tools
