Job Overview

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and OS-related issues for global clients. You will provide remote technical support via phone or e-chat using documented protocols and knowledge databases. This is a client-facing role that demands excellent communication, strong technical skills, and a customer-focused approach.


Key Responsibilities

  • Follow standard protocols and documented processes to address and resolve customer issues

  • Handle technical queries related to hardware, operating systems, servers, PC components, software, printers, and networking

  • Use proactive notification systems to identify and resolve issues

  • Respond to inquiries about features, specifications, warranty, and repairs for current and discontinued products

  • Provide effective solutions in a clear and non-technical language to customers

  • Manage customer interactions in a professional and courteous manner

  • Escalate issues as needed and work under supervision of a Team Lead or Supervisor


Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi

  • Strong troubleshooting abilities in:

    • Operating Systems

    • Networking

    • PC Hardware and Software

    • Printers and Servers

  • Prior experience in client-facing roles (remote or in-person)

  • High accuracy in data entry

  • Familiarity with call routing, case management, and logging systems is desirable

  • Basic to intermediate computer proficiency


Candidate Profile

  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware, OS, and networking issues via phone for global clients

  • Proactive, positive, and professional demeanor

  • Comfortable handling a variety of tech products using a comprehensive information database

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to explain solutions to non-technical users

  • Willing to work night and rotational shifts
