The Training and Development Manager (TDM) plays a crucial role in enhancing organizational performance by managing learning programs, ensuring compliance, and leading skill development initiatives. The TDM will act as the primary liaison between site leadership and the broader Talent community, promoting a strong learning culture and addressing specific training needs.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Learning & Development:

???? Understand business strategy, workforce requirements, and critical skill gaps.
???? Act as a performance consultant to leadership and integrate the talent agenda into local business strategies.
???? Contribute to the development of standardized learning processes and drive process discipline within the team.
???? Ensure alignment with global compliance and conformance training matrices and maintain the local compliance training matrix.
???? Partner with workers' councils, unions, and employee relations to address skill development needs.
???? Oversee the rollout of new learning solutions, ensuring successful implementation and employee engagement.

Operational Management & Compliance:

???? Manage the execution of global and local learning & development programs.
???? Identify local regulatory training requirements and develop solutions to ensure compliance and conformance.
???? Work with business partners, government bodies, and external stakeholders to align training with industry standards.
???? Manage local career development programs in collaboration with the Talent organization.
???? Oversee budget planning, cost management, and procurement for learning initiatives.

Leadership & Employee Engagement:

???? Foster an inclusive and high-performance culture by coaching, mentoring, and developing the training team.
???? Drive continuous improvement initiatives and measure learning impact on business performance.
???? Promote a customer-centric learning approach that supports career progression and workforce readiness.


Required Qualifications & Skills:

Education & Experience:

???? Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
???? 5+ years’ experience in a production & operations role or 3+ years in HR, skills management, performance management, or workforce planning within complex organizations.
???? 5+ years’ experience in advising, coaching, and influencing senior executives.
