Job Title: Senior UI Developer

Job Description:
At Flipkart, the scale at which we operate and grow presents unique challenges for our systems, and our UI is no exception. As a Senior UI Developer, you will be responsible for driving the development of our customer-facing websites and web applications. This includes end-to-end ownership of various components, ensuring they can handle high traffic. You will work collaboratively with backend engineers and product owners to break down UI/UX workflows into actionable tasks and ensure timely feature delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and develop cutting-edge web applications, ensuring reusable front-end abstractions and systems.
- Investigate and design engaging and compelling user experiences.
- Ensure assigned systems are performing at scale and meeting Flipkart's operational standards.
- Actively participate in design and code reviews to create robust applications and prototypes.
- Mentor junior engineers on design best practices and coding standards.
What You'll Need:
- B.E/B.Tech or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the technologies mentioned below.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, with knowledge of frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js (preferred).
- Understanding of browser internals and a fundamental understanding of networking stacks.
- Familiarity with common design patterns used in front-end projects.
- Basic awareness of application security practices and deployment strategies for front-end projects.
- Solid knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and object-oriented programming.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
