Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Sales and Business Development to lead our sales operations. This key leadership role will oversee all sales functions, driving revenue growth, and expanding our customer base for products such as VCI paper, VCI films, RP oils, desiccants, and more. The VP will ensure operational efficiency, quality, and alignment with business goals, while also driving continuous improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Marketing Management: Oversee sales and marketing operations in both domestic and international markets.

  • Strategic Direction: Identify market/segment opportunities and define the strategic direction for sales within the segment.

  • Market Development: Support market development from segment/industry vertical/geography perspective, articulating segment objectives, goals, strategies, and tactics.

  • Execution Support: Ensure the development and implementation of tactics in line with market expectations and needs.

  • Product Development: Support the development of new products that enhance core value propositions in alignment with customer needs.

  • Customer Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Product departments, ensuring effective go-to-market planning and product rollout.

  • Customer Feedback: Develop and manage customer user groups for evaluating new products and drive customer acquisition in conjunction with Sales.

  • Key Accounts & New Products: Provide implementation and operational support for key accounts or new products, ensuring smooth onboarding and satisfaction.

  • Training & Development: Provide direction, training, and support to sales, customer service, operations, and commercial teams on new markets, segments, and products.

  • Supplier Training: Provide training to Indian suppliers who export packaging, ensuring compliance with quality requirements and export regulations.

  • Business Intelligence: Acquire and utilize business intelligence to support marketing, sales, products, and operations.

  • Escalation Point: Serve as an emergency/escalation contact for key new customers.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven senior management experience in manufacturing, preferably in the corrosion protection or related industries.

  • Skills: Expertise in operations, supply chain, quality, and production management. Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.

  • Leadership: Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

  • Compliance Knowledge: Experience with industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.

  • Education: Degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
