Guidepoint is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivables Specialist to join our finance team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing accounts receivable functions, and maintaining accurate financial records. The selected candidate will work closely with the Global Accounts Receivables Supervisor and collaborate with the Finance team based in New York.
???? Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra (Hybrid Work)
⏰ Shift Timing: 8:00 PM IST – 4:30 AM IST (Remote)
✔ Make outbound collection calls/emails professionally, maintaining and improving customer relationships.
✔ Collect customer payments in accordance with due dates.
✔ Communicate with clients regarding billing discrepancies and inquiries.
✔ Send correspondence to encourage payment of delinquent accounts.
✔ Maintain accurate client billing records and update client accounts accordingly.
✔ Post collections to accounts and verify calculations, balances, and supporting documents.
✔ Perform account reconciliations and monitor assigned accounts.
✔ Assist with daily cash collections report.
✔ Identify and report issues contributing to account delinquency.
✔ Follow up on payment arrangements and escalate as necessary.
✔ Adhere to company policies and ensure confidentiality and compliance with financial regulations.
✔ Book journal entries when needed.
✔ Determine currency exchange rates for deposited funds.
✔ Assist the Global Accounts Receivables Supervisor with various tasks and special projects.
✔ Experience: Minimum 2+ years in accounts receivables.
✔ Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
✔ Excellent customer service and communication skills.
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
✔ Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP).
