Position Description:
As a Maintenance Control Coordinator, you will coordinate with airline customers and internal teams to manage and control the execution of maintenance plans. You will handle dynamic changes, re-prioritize tasks based on customer requirements, resolve conflicts, and ensure smooth operations on the day of maintenance.
What You'll Do:

Oversee Cathay’s home base line maintenance in Hong Kong, addressing operational challenges and ensuring smooth workflow.

Analyze changes in maintenance requirements and make decisions to re-prioritize tasks according to airline operations.

Review and assess task deferral requests, prioritizing based on impact and operational needs.

Oversee aircraft switches, AOG situations, and critical paths, forecasting and planning for aircraft maintenance inputs.

Monitor progress of maintenance tasks, collaborating with airline customers to ensure timely aircraft availability and rotations.

Manage incoming defects, direct troubleshooting, and coordinate AOG recovery efforts to ensure aircraft availability.

Lead teams to uphold the highest safety and quality standards, ensuring on-time performance for airline partners.
What We’re Looking For:
-
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of maintenance experience related to B1/B2 on A330/A350/777/747-400/747-800.

Strong background in airline maintenance, with the ability to adapt to fast-paced changes.

Preferably experience in a commercial airline maintenance control position.

A recognized university degree in any discipline.

A valid EASA/HKAR-66 B1/B2/B2 License*, with appropriate Airbus/Boeing aircraft type ratings.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships with diverse teams.
