Job Description:

This role sits within the Finance FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) organization, responsible for business planning, performance management, and business partnering across different geographies.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance Management:

  • Provide timely, accurate, and reliable financial and management data to support business decisions.
  • Prepare insightful reports and analysis for leadership discussions.
  • Track and enhance profitability through performance data.

Business Partnering & Insights:

  • Maintain a proactive relationship with leadership teams.
  • Provide accurate forecasting, analysis, and commentary to drive performance.
  • Monitor cost reduction initiatives and track profitability metrics.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze monthly/quarterly actuals, trends, and variances.
  • Highlight key performance areas and suggest interventions.
  • Use SAP-based systems, Power BI, and Tableau for reporting.

Business Strategy & Planning:

  • Participate in long-term strategic planning and quarterly updates.
  • Assist in plan coordination, data analysis, and leadership presentations.

Joint Venture & Economic Evaluation:

  • Support finance teams in developing plans and Authorizations for Expenditure (AFEs).
  • Conduct economic evaluations to assess project feasibility.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify performance management improvements.
  • Promote standardized systems, reports, and processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Engineering (Required)
  • Master’s degree (MBA, CA, ICWA/Cost Accountant) preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Preferred: Experience in Oil & Gas, Retail, Manufacturing, Logistics, or asset-based industries

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and insight capabilities
  • Excellent communication & business partnering skills
  • Financial systems expertise (SAP, Microsoft tools, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive operational improvements
