Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Branch Manager to lead our Vadodara branch. The ideal candidate should have:
✔ A strong track record in the FTL transport sector.
✔ Extensive client relationships and a vast vendor/broker network.
✔ The ability to drive business growth, operational excellence, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development
???? Identify and acquire new FTL clients to expand the customer base.
???? Maintain and strengthen existing client relationships to ensure high satisfaction and repeat business.
???? Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market expansion.
2. Vendor & Broker Network Management
???? Utilize an existing network of vendors & brokers to ensure efficient transport solutions.
???? Negotiate favorable contracts with service providers to optimize costs and service quality.
???? Continuously assess and expand the network to meet evolving business needs.
3. Operational Excellence
???? Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring compliance with company policies & industry regulations.
???? Coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely placement of vehicles in the market.
???? Monitor & analyze operational metrics to drive continuous improvement.
4. Team Leadership
???? Foster a culture of performance and accountability.
???? Lead, mentor, and develop the branch staff.
???? Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.
???? Assess team performance and implement strategies for career growth.
Qualifications
✔ 5-7 years of experience in the FTL transport industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
✔ Proven track record of client acquisition & retention in logistics.
✔ Strong network of vendors & brokers within the transport sector.
✔ Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
✔ Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
✔ Fluency in English & Hindi (local language proficiency is a plus).
