Job Summary

AWS India is seeking an Enterprise Account Manager to drive business development and long-term growth within the Financial Services sector (NBFCs, Insurance, Banks, Capital Markets).

This role requires strong sales and relationship management skills, particularly in engaging C-level executives. The ideal candidate should have expertise in cloud computing, SaaS, and enterprise sales to drive AWS adoption across financial institutions.


Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales Strategy

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to expand AWS’s presence in the financial services sector.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with C-level executives across business and IT functions.
  • Understand industry challenges and position AWS solutions effectively.
  • Create and present compelling value propositions for AWS services.
  • Maintain accurate business reports and forecasts.

Customer & Partner Engagement

  • Ensure AWS is the preferred cloud computing platform for financial services customers.
  • Collaborate with the AWS Channels Team to engage local and national partners.
  • Drive customer satisfaction through effective engagement and support.
  • Establish trust with senior business stakeholders (CXOs, IT leaders, etc.).

Operational & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Conduct daily customer research, stakeholder mapping, and meeting preparations.
  • Ensure SFDC hygiene and maintain high data integrity.
  • Manage time efficiently between customer meetings, business development activities, and issue resolution.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop tailored pitches, solutions, and proposals.
  • Regularly attend and lead customer meetings and cadence calls.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education:

???? Master’s degree or equivalent experience.

Experience:

8–12 years of direct sales or business development experience in:

  • Software, Cloud, or SaaS markets
  • Selling to C-level executives
    ✔ Experience in selling to Financial Services industry is preferred but not mandatory.
    ✔ Familiarity with internet architectures, on-premise infrastructure, and cloud computing.

Technical & Business Skills:

✔ Ability to translate business challenges into cloud-based solutions.
✔ Strong understanding of financial services industry dynamics.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
✔ Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
✔ Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.
