Job Summary: Finance Manager (Moving Group & Shared Experience)
The Finance Manager (Moving Group & Shared Experience) is a mission-critical role, partnering with business leaders across Porch, Accounting, Analytics, and HR to provide insights and guidance on financial performance.
This role requires strong business acumen, financial expertise, data analysis skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will support P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
???? Business Partnering & Financial Support

Serve as a strategic finance partner for your division, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Provide financial insights and key performance indicators (KPIs) to business unit leaders.

Identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
???? Financial Analysis & Reporting
-
Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue enhancement strategies.

Assist in budgeting and forecasting cycles (quarterly & annual) for your division.

Review month-end financial results and analyze division performance.
-
Maintain and improve P&L models to support decision-making.
???? Data & Performance Tracking

Track weekly dashboards and monthly KPIs/OKRs for your business unit.

Utilize SmartView, Tableau, and other data sources to perform ad-hoc financial analysis.

Analyze investment returns, unit economics, payback, and LTV to CAC ratios.
???? Strategic Financial Planning

Provide financial reports and insights to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.

Communicate financial results and implications to key stakeholders.
-
Support the development of financial forecasting models to improve business efficiency.
Required Qualifications & Experience
✔ 7+ years of experience in FP&A or a similar role (preferably in a consumer services-based industry).
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
✔ Strong expertise in financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and US GAAP accounting.
✔ Knowledge of key financial metrics, including LTV to CAC, unit economics, EBITDA, and ROI analysis.
✔ Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP systems.
✔ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to senior leadership.
✔ Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with strong organizational skills.
✔ Experience in financial modeling and data-driven decision-making.
✔ Ability to work US business hours (Eastern Standard Time overlap required).
✔ High attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets with accuracy.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)
➕ Experience with Tableau, NetSuite, Oracle Smart View.
➕ Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, and data analytics tools.
➕ Experience with business data analysis and visualization tools.
